Events
Our events are a cornerstone of what we do. Hosted by expert staff and sometimes actual winemakers; our tastings are informative, fun and extremely relaxed.
Our informal tastings are alive with laughter, camaraderie and the odd-dad joke. The theme of our tastings are varied and wines shown are stellar examples of the styles they are meant to represent.
With the
option to buy all of the wines at 10% off on these evenings, its the perfect time to be stocking up the wine rack at home or replenishing that dwindling stock of favourites. We always extend this discount to every
wine
in the shop.
Our tasting are accompanied by expertly paired artisan cheese and/or charcuterie. We endeavour to ensure each matches the theme of the tasting whether its 'Tour of Southern Italy' or our famous 'Alpine' with Raclette.

WHAT TO DRINK IN FRONT OF THE TELLY...
A new format tasting where Rich explores how the trend of drinking in front of the box maybe more enjoyable if the styles paired with the genre. A more interactive tasting where we look at TV/Film genres, wine featured in them and there's also a possibility we might throw in a game or two. Homework is to watch and drink as much as possible before the tasting. Let there be popcorn
We host awesome tasting events with pioneer winemakers and true innovators of production like the amazing Chester Osborne from d'Arenberg, McLaren Vale (Southern Australia).
The wine selection is always hand selected by us. Truly expressive examples representing quality, textbook example of region, terroir and sometime the completely off-piste.
... a little closer to home but extremely well respected Filey Bay whisky tasking from Morgan (of Spirit of Yorkshire) in 2023.
How to book...
The easiest way is to pop in and speak to one of our staff. We can then add you to the reservations list. You have an option to pay at the time of booking or on the night.
